Value Creation – Life Science Lab/Office Facility

Starting with the construction of an initial 175,000 square foot office building, followed by multiple additional land acquisitions and expansions, we have transformed Burlington Summit into Burlington’s preeminent Life Science/office park comprising 900,000 SF of existing and available space including the 350,000 square foot North America Headquarters for Millipore Sigma.

Following on the success of Millipore Sigma, The Gutierrez Company worked cooperatively with local officials, town staff and the community to revise and update town rules and zoning regulations allowing Burlington to become a Mass Bio-Ready Platinum-rated community. We also obtained approval for the expansion of the Summit campus to include the addition of a new facility at 300 Summit Drive. This newly created development opportunity, with frontage directly on Interstate 95 at the mouth of Route 3, will be a highly visible, 250,000 square foot state-of-the-art life science lab building featuring covered parking and full park amenities including an outdoor walking trail.
